From Performer-at-Heart to Pure-at-Heart (post for Million Praying Women)

Do you ever feel like you have to “perform” for God?  Impress Him with your good works or faithfulness, in order to spend time in prayer?

I sure know the feeling.

For too long, I let the performer in me wear me down.  That is, until God’s grace became real, and I discovered the power of coming to Him “just as I am”.

Because, friends, I realized that God’s grace was stronger than my bondage.

You can read more about my prayer confession and what it looks like to be rescued from the pit of a performer at  Million Praying Women, where I’m so excited to be writing today.

Bless you, friends!  Happy Friday!
