3 Must-Reads for Every Married Woman (Day 26 : Valentine’s Month)
Yesterday, I talked about the surprising importance of sex for a husband’s emotional connection to his wife.
But what if it’s just plain hard to get there? No doubt, there can be some difficult elements to putting yourself out there in marriage.
Past wounds. Broken trust. Awkward questions. Insecurities.
What about the questions we have, that we don’t feel like we can ask anyone for fear of embarrassment?
Sadly, in most church settings, leaders do not foster open conversations on the topic of sex in marriage.
So, today I wanted to share some books that I’ve found to be helpful. Praying they provide guidance for questions or issues you may have, and that your marriage will thrive in new ways with what you learn.
Intimate Issues: 21 Questions Christian Women Ask About Sex by Linda Dillow and Lorraine Pintus
Good Girl’s Guide to Great Sex: And You Thought Bad Girls Have All the Fun by Shelia Wray Gregoire (there’s even a group study guide if you and a few girl friends are interested in learning together!)
For Women Only: What You Need To Know About the Inner Lives of Men by Shaunti Feldhahn
3 must-read books for every married woman.
